Custom Bike Wheels
During our going out of business sale, wheels are 50% off normal prices.
We have several master bicycle wheel builders. If you're having problems with your bike wheels, we can custom-build a wheel that will out perform what you have now.
If you have a ruined wheel, we can use your old hub and replace the spokes and the rim with a sturdier-than-normal model, such as a Salsa Gordo, Sun Rhynolite or Bontrager Clyde, for $110 to $130.
Excellent custom-built wheels with all new parts are available from $140.
For mountain bikers who are tough on rear wheels, we recommend a 36 hole Salsa Gordo rim, DT Competition spokes, a triple cross pattern, and a Shimano XT hub, costing $160.
Our prices include retensioning the wheel after its first serious ride--a necessary step to produce a solid wheel. You won't get this service other places.
We can usually produce a custom-built wheel within several days of the order.
We have a number of mountain bike wheels already custom built for strength. They are much stronger than factory built wheels. Call or come by to see a good collection.
